Abstract : In this study, we conducted behavioral experiments about people’s behavior when searching in- formation to clarify the characteristics and differences between Internet search and library. Inter- net search and library have their own merits, but there is an exploration of the unknown that can only be realized in a library. This is important for academic development and cultural creation. So if the next generation of libraries can create an online library that combines the features of both, using technologies such as virtual reality, it can be a useful tool to facilitate the search for knowledge beyond the physical limitations of time and space that exist in traditional libraries.
